About PFC
Competitive but Kind.
We’re a Portland-area floorball club. Some of us have played for years; others picked up a stick here for the first time.
How the club started
David Slater founded PFC in May 2025 after running a floorball club in Reno.
It was Oregon’s first dedicated floorball club. We now meet each week at PDX Fieldhouse in Beaverton for games with a mix of new and experienced players.
Portland Floorball Club is the organization. The Penguins are our team and mascot.

What our motto means
Keep it clean.
Follow the non-contact rules and respect the players around you.
Help the new person.
Explain a rule, share the ball, and make sure a first-timer gets involved.
KATU visits PFC
Hallie gives it a try.
KATU’s Hallie DeVore joined us to try floorball. Watch her learn the basics and get into the game.
